Hey guys! How’s it going?
I’m going to try to get back to posting a couple times a week as I have a LOT of things to talk about. It’s pretty much a win-win for everyone as you’ll get more content from me a a result! Yay!
So… the Beauty Blender. This little sponge has been a MAJOR game changer in the makeup world. It creates a flawless airbrushed finish. It can be used wet or dry and with liquid, cream or powder products. For a long time, there was nothing that came close. NOTHING.
Over the last few years, companies have been making beauty sponges that are just as good as the Beauty Blender. And sometimes even better. And also less expensive. Because let’s face it, paying $20 for a SPONGE is a bit much. I get it that it’s a REALLY GOOD sponge, but now there are lots of more affordable options out there, why would you WANT to spend $20 for a sponge anymore?
So today, I’m going to share with you my favorite alternatives to the Beauty Blender. And they’re all under $10. You ready? Let’s get going!
Hey guys! How’s it going? I hope you had a good Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa… or whatever you celebrate!
I had a good Christmas. It was pretty low key really. My boyfriend and I went to my dad’s house for dinner and we did presents and stuff.
Anyhow, I’m finally back with a new post for you! I thought I’d share with you my favorite beauty products I discovered over the last year. Not all of these are products that came out this year… they were new to me though.
So are you ready? Ok let’s get going! Buckle up… this might be a long one.
Hey guys! How’s it going?
Well I’m a little late, but I got my favorites for the month of October to share with you guys. I skipped September as I didn’t really have any favorites that month, but I’m back for this go-round.
What have I been loving last month? Keep on reading…
Hey guys! How was your weekend? Do anything fun?
Friday night, I was invited by Busch Gardens Tampa to attend opening night of their Howl-O-Scream Halloween haunt event. This was my 7th year attending Howl-O-Scream and once again, it did not disappoint. I’m weirdly in the middle with Halloween stuff. I love a good scare, but I don’t do well with a lot of gore. So I don’t do the majority of the houses, but I do get my scares in from the scare zones around the park and the bands of roaming monsters. My friend who goes with me to these events is in the same boat as I am, so she’s the perfect companion to have along. We were happy to see the park brought back the popular zombie bumper cars again (seriously… zombies are doing the bumper cars with you and it’s hysterical) and also expanded it by filling random empty seats with monsters on the roller coasters! We got to ride the Cheetah Hunt coaster with a zombie in the row behind us, which was so awesome.
You can check out my Periscope of the zombie bumper cars here:

It was a seriously awesome night and major thanks to Busch Gardens Tampa for inviting me out again. If you’re in the central Florida area, I highly recommend giving Howl-O-Scream a try if you like Halloween haunt events.
Anyhow, back on topic…
I got a review of a couple of beauty sponges today for you guys. One is from Earth Theraputics and the other is from Danielle Creations. Could either of these be possible dupes for the Beauty Blender? Keep on reading to find out…
