Hi guys! Hope you’re all doing well.
Wow… 6 years. Have I really been blogging that long? Seems like only yesterday, I was watching YouTube and thought, “Hey I can do this too!” but deciding on a written blog since I hate how I look & sound on camera. 😂
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you. To those who have been here since the beginning 6 years ago to the newcomers. You’re why I do this. Even if I inspire just ONE person, then it’s worth it.
Here’s to the next 6 years… and beyond!
Hi guys! Hop’re you’re all doing well.
I have a review for you today on not one… not two…. but three palettes from Juvia’s Place. Last month, Ulta had a bunch of Juvia’s Place palettes on sale, but by the time I was able to pull the trigger, the ones I wanted were sold out. So I hopped on the Juvia’s website and I was able to get the same palettes for the same on sale price as Ulta. Shipping was quite fast as I received them less than a week after I ordered them.
So if you want to know about the palettes I got and what I think of them, keep on reading!
Hey guys! Hope you’re all still doing well.
It was a crazy April, wasn’t it? And I don’t know about you, but for me, April went by a lot faster than the second half of March. Will be interesting to see how fast/slow May goes. I’m still working from home for the time being, but my boyfriend has gone back to work as Florida’s “safer at home” order expired at the end of April and some non-essential businesses (like my boyfriend’s store) have been able to reopen this week.
Anyhow, today I have some favorites from this past month, plus a couple misses. I know some of you haven’t been wearing much makeup or even any makeup since this whole quarantine thing started. I personally have because it just gives me some sense of normalcy. I haven’t really been buying much either (outside of a couple little splurges at the end of this month).
But let’s take a look at what I had been liking a lot in April!
Hey guys! How’s it going? I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy and entertained. Hard to believe it’s been about a month now since the ish hit the fan with everything going on in the world.
Today, I thought I’d do something a little fun and share with you what I’d pick if I could only keep 10 eye palettes out of my current collection. Now I know for some, 10 is a lot. Then there’s me… eye palette junkie/hoarder-extraordinaire. Eye palettes are my favorite type of makeup product and I’ve amassed quite a large collection since I started blogging almost 6 years ago. Back then I owned I think just one palette (the Urban Decay Mariposa) and a bunch of single shadows (mostly loose shadows & pigments from Bare Minerals). Since then, my collection has grown to over 50 palettes. Yikes! I decluttered several last year before I moved, but then of course added new ones to my collection. It’s a never-ending spiral.
But, what if I could only keep 10? Can I do it? Let’s find out!
