Review: Esquido False Lashes in Starlet & Companion Lash Glue

Hey guys! How’s it going?

As promised, I finally have a full review for you guys on the Esqido false lashes in the style Starlet, along with their Companion lash glue.

These lashes were sent to me by Esqido for review purposes, but as always, all opinions are my own.

You ready? Let’s get going!

Let’s start with some info about this lash style (taken from Esqido’s site):

Get that glamorous starlet makeup look with this pair of clustered and wispy mink lashes. Short yet voluminous, this lash is designed to provide enough volume at a shorter length to accentuate your eyes without looking too long. Suitable even for smaller eyes. The ends are also winged out to give a beautiful lifted effect to your eyes.

These lashes are mink, so they feel extremely soft like your own natural lashes, and have a cotton band, which is very soft and flexible. The Starlet style offers medium volume, so they give a little extra “oomph” without being overly dramatic. With proper care, the lashes can be worn up to 25 times (or maybe even more if you really take care of them).

I like how this style is shorter on the inner part and flares out, which gives a nice subtle faux cat-eye look. They’re very lightweight, so they don’t weigh your eyelids down when wearing them. They’re the perfect style for a night out or special occasion.

Oh and before I forget, this style retails for $29 (not cheap, I know).

Now let’s talk about the packaging. It’s gorgeous. The lashes come in a sleek white case with the Esqido logo embossed in rose gold. You know I am ALL about that rose gold life. Inside… more rose gold! Esqido gets points on all levels for just packaging alone. So simple get gorgeous.

How about some before & after photos?

Before – no makeup at all (yikes):

After – Lashes & all eye makeup applied (all pretty now):

Now onto the Companion lash glue! This glue retails for $10.

Some info from Esqido’s site:

Introducing ESQIDO Companion, our Best Selling clear eyelash glue with strong all day hold. Specially formulated for to be latex-free, it’s a gentle mixture that is perfect for sensitive eyes. With a fine tip wand, you’ll be able to brush on the right amount of non latex lash adhesive to your false lashes, every time. This is the best eyelash glue for any type of false eyelashes – long lasting professional lash adhesive trusted by many makeup artists.

Once again… killing it with the packaging. a sleek, elegant, frosted tube with a rose gold top. I like the applicator is a brush, which makes applying SO easy. The glue starts off as white, turns blue as it gets tacky and then dries clear. The glue holds really well. It kept the lashes adhered to my eyes all day/night (around 12 hours of wear), though I kept it with me in my bag just in case.

So how do I like these lashes? I love them. They look so pretty on. My boyfriend thought they were really pretty too. He was constantly looking at my eyes all night. I don’t have the time or patience to wear false lashes every day, but these are perfect for date nights, special occasions and the like. If you’re looking for some nice lashes for the same purposes, I highly recommend checking these out… or any other style from Esqido. Besides the mink lashes, they’ve also recently released a line of synthetic lashes, for those who prefer to go that route.

And that should do it! Have you tried lashes from Esqido? Are they a brand you’re interested in checking out?

As always, thank you all so much for reading! I’ll see you again soon in my next post!
