Review & Swatches: Lorac Pro Metal Palette

Hey guys! Happy Friday!

Today’s post is going to be a review and swatches of the Lorac Pro Metal Palette, so let’s jump right into it!

I picked this up as part of my birthday haul earlier this month. This palette is an Ulta exclusive.

The packaging is the same as the other Lorac Pro palettes – sturdy cardboard – but this one has a shiny, metallic finish to it, which makes sense considering what’s inside.

It comes with 8 shadows – all of them have a shimmery, metallic finish. The formula of these shadows is the same we know and love from Lorac. They’re super soft and very pigmented. As a result, this can cause some fallout, but it’s worth it (and you can always do your eye makeup first for easier cleanup).

The shadows apply and blend beautifully. Since this palette is all metallic finishes, you’ll need to use this palette in conjunction with other palettes for a complete eye look. But it works so well with other palettes that it’s worth it. I’ve used it with my Tartelette, Lorac Pro and Pro 2, Anastasia and other palettes as well as single shadows and always get a gorgeous look.

All of the colors in this palette are so pretty it’s hard to really pick a favorite. I’ve been able to use most of them and right now I’m really loving Rose Gold (big surprise, right?), Amber, Graphite and Clover. I’m still trying to figure out how to incorporate Cobalt and Onyx into some looks, but I’ll come up with something.

So how about some swatches, huh? These were all done dry, with no primer underneath so you can see how pigmented they really are.

The Lorac Pro Metal Palette retails for $28 (which honestly isn’t bad for a high end palette) and as I’ve mentioned, it’s exclusive to Ulta. If you’re looking for a palette like this, I definitely recommend checking it out.

Ok that should do it for today! Have you tried this palette? Is it on your wishlist? Let me know below in the comments.

As always, thank you all so much for reading and your support. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and I’ll see you again Monday with a new post! 🙂
