Recent Lippie Purchases – Part 2

Hi beauties! Happy Hump Day! Hope your week is going well.

Today’s post is going to be part 2 of my recent lippie purchases. If you missed part 1 last week, you can read that here. Got lots more to cover, so let’s just jump right into it!

First up is the MAC lipstick in Pure Zen. This is described by MAC as a “warm frosty nude” with a creamsheen finish. I see this more as a peachy color than nude. It’s a really nice shade that you can use with any lip liner to change up the color a bit.

Next is the Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting lipstick in Pinkberry. I got this as part of my gift with purchase at the Estee Lauder counter at Macy’s a few weeks ago. This is a really pretty pinky/mauve shade that’s great for both daytime or night. It’s creamy and pigmented and it is long wearing as it claims to be.

And next is the L’Oreal Colour Riche lipstick in Tropical Coral. This is an absolutely gorgeous coral shade that’s not too light, too dark or too bright. Perfect summer lip color and I have been totally obsessed with it since I got it.

Next up is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm. NYX describes this as a “mid-tone beige-pink”. I think that description is pretty accurate. For me it’s in the “my lips but better” category.

Got another NYX product next, the Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler. This is desribed by NYX as a “red-orange”. I see it more as a bright coral. This gloss is pigmented enough it can be worn on its own or as a topper over any peach, coral or orange lipstick. I love how these glosses aren’t overly sticky and how they melt into your lips.

Next is the MAC lip pencil in Edge to Edge. This shade is described by MAC as a “cool-toned blue-pink”, which is pretty accurate. It goes great with a lot of neutral and nude lipsticks and is so creamy. I like pairing it with Pure Zen to get a more light peachy-pink overall result.

And finally is the NYX lip pencil in Peekaboo Neutral. This is a perfect neutral pink shade that goes with almost anything.

And that should do it for part 2 of this series! I’ll have part 3 for you guys next week.

So do you own any of these lippies? If so, which is your favorite? Let me know below in the comments.

As always, thank you all so much for reading and your support! Enjoy the rest of your day and I’ll see you again Friday with a new post! 🙂
