Hot Patootie! MAC’s Rocky Horror Makeup Line

Happy Friday my lovelies!

So as you may have already heard, MAC is coming out with a makeup line inspired by….

Science fiction..... double feature...

Science fiction….. double feature…

I don’t know about you, but I am a HUGE Rocky Horror fan. I watch it every Halloween and try to see a screening with a live shadowcast (they act out the movie in front of the screen in full costume, props and all) when I can. There’s actually a couple of really great shadowcasts in my area. I love the audience participation aspect. It’s just like one big party!

The Entire MAC Rocky Horror line

The Entire MAC Rocky Horror line

This line is supposed to commemorate the film’s 40th anniversary. Just one small problem… this year is actually the film’s 39th anniversary. The movie was originally released in theatres on September 25, 1975, so next year (2015) is the actual 40th anniversary. I guess someone at MAC didn’t do their research properly or miscounted or something. Whoops!

Nonetheless, this collection looks amazing from the photos I’ve seen so far! Just the special packaging alone is awesome. Here’s a rundown of what to expect (all prices are in US dollars):
