Hi everyone! Hope your week is going well.
Today I’m going to share with you my top 20 beauty products that cost under $20. Here they are in no particular order:
SEPHORA BRAND PERFECTING ULTRA-SMOOTHING PRIMER
This costs $15 at Sephora and is a really nice primer. I’ve found it to work just as well as the more expensive Smashbox Photo Finish primer. It helps blur imperfections and also is infused with vitamins E and A which help nourish your skin. It really helps my foundation go on smoother and keeps it staying fresh longer.
ULTA BRAND CHEEK COLOR
This normally costs $7 at Ulta (sometimes they have it on sale) and a nice pressed powder blush. I have these in Bashful, Playful and Adore. They’re Gluten-Free and long-wearing.
L’OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION
I really don’t wear liquid foundation much anymore, but True Match by L’Oreal was my go-to for several years. It comes in a ton of shades/tones, so there’s literally something for everyone. It contains SPF 17, goes on smooth and is super blendable. They cost anywhere from around $9 to $11 depending where you buy it.
PHILOSOPHY HOPE IN A JAR – TRAVEL SIZE
This is my favorite moisturizer ever. The full size jars are super expensive, but this travel size jar costs $15 and can last a long time. I highly recommend applying this moisturizer with a foundation brush as you’ll use less product and still get the perfect amount of coverage on your face.
RIMMEL LONDON PROFFESIONAL BROW PENCIL
I like these eyebrow pencils as they go on smooth and fill in gaps to make your brows look fuller pretty well. Plus there’s a little brush on the cap for blending. These pencils cost around $4.
REVLON HIGHLIGHTING PALETTE
These palettes come in a few different shades and are nice as you can blend the colors by swirling your brush around to create a perfect highlighting shade. They cost around $10 to $12 depending on where you buy.
REVLON COLORSTAY FOUNDATION
This foundation is good if you have oily/combination skin. It’s oil-free and doesn’t rub off under normal wear circumstances. It comes in several shades and costs $11 to $13 depending on where you buy it.
REAL TECHNIQUES MAKEUP BRUSHES
These are pretty good quality brushes and are very soft. They cost around $6 to $10 at Ulta, depending on which brush you buy (lip and eyeshadow brushes are less expensive, face brushes are at the higher end).
NYX COSMETICS BUTTER GLOSS
These glosses are pretty awesome. They’re supper smooth and moisturizing, give pretty good color payoff and don’t feel sticky/tacky on your lips like some lip glosses do. They come in lots of colors and cost just $5!
NYX COSMETICS SLIDE ON EYELINER PENCIL
I love these pencils. They work just as well as Urban Decay’s 24/7 or Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Eyes pencils but cost less than half the price at just $8. Once it sets, it won’t come off until you take it off.
MAYBELLINE GREAT LASH WATERPROOF MASCARA
This one has been voted time and again as one of the best mascaras out there. It’s a classic used by professional makeup artists as well as everyday folk like you and me. The best part is the price – around $6 to $7 depending on where you buy it.
NYX COSMSTICS JUMBO EYE PENCILS
I love these! They go on smooth and are super blendable. My favorite shade is Milk, which is a matte white. I used it as a lid primer when I want a nice pop of color with my normal eye shadow. It also makes my shadow last all day and night. These pencils cost $4.50 at Ulta and sometimes they have NYX on sale buy one, get one 50% off (a great time to stock up).
NYX COSMETICS BUTTER LIP BALM
Don’t like wearing lipstick or lip gloss but want a little color on your lips while keeping them moisturized? These balms do the trick at just $4. They’re soft and smooth and give just a touch of color.
NYX COSMETICS ROUND CASE LIPSTICK
Yes I love NYX and I’m proud of it. This is my current favorite lipstick. It goes on super smooth and is really creamy and non-drying. My favorite shades are B52 and Minimalism. And they only cost $4!
EXFOLIATING FACIAL MAKE UP REMOVER WIPES
I don’t know the exact brand of these, but I got them at Dollar Tree of all places. These things actually work well! They remove your makeup while exfoliating your skin, plus they’re infused with Vitamin E. I’ve been using these for a few weeks now and so far they have not caused any breakouts on my somewhat sensitive skin. Best thing? They only cost a whole dollar for a pack of 30 wipes!
And those are my top 20 under $20 picks! Do you have a favorite beauty product that costs under $20 that’s not listed here? Tell me about it below in the comments!
